Badugi plan is sort of tricky to understand, and lots of players are still stumped as to which plan is the best Badugi method to use.
You shouldn’t hesitate to raise early if you get a good rainbow hand, particularly if all of your cards are low cards. It is pretty likely to win serious cash by using your rainbow hands well and knowing the best time to raise and play you hand or when to double. With Badugi strategy, it is in your own favor to be really trained in what hands to keep and which hands to double. You are much more likely to win in the end and fold when you have a virtually Badugi hand ,eg A-2-3 from different suits and a four from the same suit as any other card. Though Badugi methodology is all about low cards, it’s far better to have a 10-J-Q-K rainbow hand, the an A-2-3-4 non rainbow hand, or an A-A-2-3 rainbow hand. As with lots of other poker games, Badugi has a great deal to do with understanding how to read your opponents and the way to correctly put your strategic skills to use. The purpose of Badugi is to form a low card rainbow hand. The lower the card values, the better. You must also learn how to avoid high cards and cards of the same suit.
